2.2 Website analytics (Google Analytics)

When you browse the Website, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how the Website is used and to improve its content and performance. The following information may be collected automatically:

  • your IP address (anonymized; see below);
  • your browser and operating system type and version;

To learn more about Google’s practices, see

Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. See also Section 6 for more details on cookies.

4. Consent

By submitting the contact form, you consent to our collecting and using the information provided for the purposes described in this policy.

For cookies and tracking technologies that are not strictly necessary for the operation of the Website, including those related to analytics, we obtain your prior consent through a cookie notice or banner displayed on your first visit. You may accept, refuse or withdraw your consent at any time.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the person in charge of the protection of personal information identified in Section 1. Withdrawal of consent is not retroactive.

5. Disclosure of information to third parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information. However, we may disclose certain information to the following categories of recipients, strictly for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Service providers: providers that supply us with web hosting, analytics (Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC), email or technical support services, and who access the information only to the extent necessary to perform their services;
  • Authorities and legal obligations: where required by law, for example in response to a request from a public authority, court or regulatory body.

When we use a service provider, we enter into a written agreement governing the protection and confidentiality of the information disclosed.

5.1 Disclosure outside Quebec

Our analytics provider Google Analytics (Google LLC), as well as certain hosting providers, may store or process information outside Quebec or Canada, in particular in the United States. Before disclosing personal information outside Quebec, we conduct a privacy impact assessment to ensure that the information receives adequate protection, in accordance with Law 25. To limit this transfer, we have enabled IP anonymization in Google Analytics. To learn which providers are used and which countries are involved, you may contact the person identified in Section 1.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. We use the following types of cookies:

  • Necessary cookies: essential to the proper functioning and security of the Website; they do not require your consent;
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): cookies such as _ga, _gid and _gat that allow us to measure and analyze Website traffic; they are placed only with your consent.

You may at any time configure your browser to refuse cookies, notify you of their presence or delete them. Refusing certain cookies may, however, limit some features of the Website.

7. Retention period

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, subject to retention periods required by law.

  • Contact form information: retained for as long as necessary to process and follow up on your request, then destroyed or anonymized when no longer required;
  • Analytics data: retained in aggregated or anonymized form according to the settings of the tool used.

When no longer needed, personal information is securely destroyed or anonymized.

8. Security measures

We take reasonable physical, technological and administrative security measures to protect personal information against loss, theft and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. These measures include encryption of communications (HTTPS protocol), restricting access to authorized persons and raising awareness among relevant staff.

9. Confidentiality incident

In the event of an incident involving personal information (for example, unauthorized access), we take reasonable measures to reduce its consequences and prevent such an incident from recurring. If the incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the individuals concerned as well as the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, and we will maintain a register of incidents, in accordance with the law.

10. Your rights

In accordance with Law 25, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
