Is boxing right for my child?
My child has never done boxing. Are these classes for them?
Will my child have to fight?
My child already plays another sport. Can they also do boxing?
My child is shy. Can boxing help them gain confidence?
My child is bursting with energy. Can boxing be a good fit for them?
What should I expect?
What awaits my child at their first class?
After a group warm-up, the children for whom it’s a first class will be grouped together and the trainer will teach them the basics of boxing while the more experienced ones practise the same techniques more independently.
Since boxing is a sport in which the basics must be continually practised to avoid bad habits, it’s easy to join an existing group at any time. More playful games and activities are included to make the teaching more dynamic and to make sure fun is part of the experience, despite the seriousness and discipline that boxing requires.
And if my child doesn’t dare to take part, how does that go?
Are the children separated by age or by level?
All the children are grouped together since the ages (8 to 12) and levels are close. We very rarely have a child who is already at an advanced level at this age, and if that’s the case, the child instead chooses the competitive stream. If you have any doubts about your child’s level, write to us or call us, and we’ll take the time to assess with you the most appropriate path
What happens if my child has difficulty with certain exercises?
How does it work?
What equipment should I plan for?
Can parents attend the classes?
Can my child try a class before signing up?
Yes, and we encourage you to do so! A trial class is the best way to see if your child enjoys the experience and feels good in the group.
